butter_dates_protein bars


Ingredients

Base

- 1 cup walnuts

- 6 medjool dates (soaked in hot water for 10-15min)

- 1/4 cup of peanut butter

- 1 scoop of protein powder with peanut butter flavour

- 1/8 cup of water


Top layer

- 20 cashew nuts

- 1/4 cup of coconut cream


Method

First soak the cashew nuts in hot water for at least 15-20min. In the meantime ground the walnuts and blend together with dates, peanut butter, protein powder and should you need to make it more creamy add the water. Spoon the mixture into the small box ( I usually use the measurement of 17x11cm where I cut it into 15 small pieces) and spread the blended cashew with the coconut cream at the top. Keep stored in the freezer. It's so yummy!



I would be happy to have dates tree and walnuts and peanuts field in my garden, 'cause my consumption of these 2 products is huge :-) Combination of these natural sugars and fats make my sweet cravings satisfied anytime.
