Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chestnut puree
- 2 flax seeds(grounded 2 tbsp of flax seeds and poured with hot water and keep aside 10-15min)
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup grounded almonds
- 1 scoop protein powder with peanut butter flavour
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of sea salt
- 1 tsp of baking soda
Method
Combine all the wet ingredients - flax seeds, chestnut puree, peanut butter and mash together with the fork. In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients, the almond flour, protein powder, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.Combine the dry and wet ingredients. I have used the silicone muffins cups where I divided the batter with a spoon. Baking time 20min at 190C.
I have not used any sweeteners as my chestnut puree was quite sweet but alternatively you could add 1/4 maple or agave syrup.
